As a Nashville drummer, Jeff has drummed at venues/clubs all over town. Some of his favorites include Bridgestone Arena, Curb Event Center, Marathon Music Works, Exit/In, Mercy Lounge, The High Watt, 3rd & Lindsley, and Acme Feed & Seed. Jeff has also toured the United States playing drum set for Nashville based acts.
Jeff has recorded drums for various artists and projects in many legendary studios in Nashville including Sound Emporium Studios, RCA Studio B, Columbia Studio A, Quonset Hut Studio, Station West, Capricorn Sound Works, Dark Horse Recording Studios, TRC Studios, & Wild Road Recording to name a few..
Jeff's unique playing style features a strong, deep pocketed groove that is a result from years of idolizing Steve Jordan, embellished with rudimental vocabulary gained from countless hours of formal percussion training. Jeff Meloen's playing style behind the drum kit has been compared to a mix of Steve Jordan, John Bonham, & Mitch Mitchell.
