Jeff Meloen, 25, is an up and coming drummer in Nashville, TN currently serving as the touring drummer for country music artist Chase Bryant (Red Bow Recording Artist). Jeff is becoming known for his heavy hitting, deep pocketed grooves.
Growing up in Clarksville, TN provided a quiet place for Jeff to focus on his drumming once he first picked up the sticks at age 11 in middle school band class. Jeff got his start learning classical and rudimental percussion in school while learning drum kit on his own time at home. Jeff continued his love of rudimental drumming and went on to perform in DCI with The Cavaliers Drum & Bugle Corps snare line from 2012-2014 and in WGI with Music City Mystique snare line from 2012-2014. After aging out of rudimental drumming at age 21, Jeff made the short move to Nashville and enrolled in Belmont University in the fall of 2014. He was able to cut his teeth on the local college rock scene playing various clubs around Nashville and going on independent tours around the country. Jeff managed to land endorsement deals with Innovative Percussion and Paiste Cymbals while still a student.
After graduating from Belmont University in May of 2017 at the age of 24, Jeff took his skills and began a career in country music. In October of 2017 Jeff began playing drums with country artist Chase Bryant. Beginning January of 2018, Jeff was fortunate enough to hop on the last leg of Brad Paisley's Weekend Warrior World Tour where Chase Bryant was on the bill alongside Dustin Lynch and Lindsay Ell. On his first major tour, Jeff was able to perform in many major market arenas around the country including Nashville's Bridgestone Arena, Staples Center in Los Angeles, and The Sprint Center in Kansas City, MO. For the remainder of 2018, Jeff can be found on the road with Chase Bryant or around town teaching private lessons.
Jeff Meloen proudly endorses Barton Drums, Paiste Cymbals, Innovative Percussion and AMPP, Inc (The Renzi).
